Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy

Hi.

I would like to give up smoking and a friend told me that hypnotherapy is useful. Can you help me? I have been smoking for about nine years and I just can’t give up. My boyfriend said that I needed to get help. When I haven’t got any money, I realize that I only have a few cigarettes in my handbag. Then I get stressed. I can’t smoke tomorrow. I count how many cigarettes I can have during the evening, and I am am always asking people to borrow money so that I can smoke more. I am only smoking Benson & Hedges lights and I know that that is better than the normal cigarettes, but it is still bad isn’t it.

I also wheeze. When I get cold I continue to smoke. I smoke less but my cold goes on forever. As soon as my cold goes away and get another sore throat and the whole thing start again. My cough is also getting worse, and I know that is because of my smoking. Can you help please. I have heard that hypnotherapy can be used to help people to give up smoking.

Sylvia

Dear Sylvia

Thanks for your e-mail. The approach we use at London Hypnotherapy UK is called Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy; however, this therapy approach uses all sorts of techniques. The main technique I use is aversion therapy (although this is now referred to as covert sensitization). I pair the unwanted behaviour–in this case, the smoking–with wanting to feel sick. It is a very powerful process, and I have had great results with this technique over the years. Some clients give up in one session, while other need a few more sessions. The idea is not actually to make you feel sick; but, before you take the cigarette, or buy the cigarette, you feel sick and this stops you buy or smoke cigarettes. The approach is very safe and it gives you a huge amount of control.

If you would like to book a session to help you stop smoking, please give the office a ring on 0207 467 8564.

Best of luck

Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy

Dear hypnotherapist

I am looking for a hypnotherapist in london but i am frightened about the process. I have been given mixed messages from my friends about this stuff and i ain’t afraid to come for treatment, but some people say that I won’t remember what is happening to me during the process, and some other say that they found it useful. What is Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy’. I have been smoking for years and my wife says that I have got to give up. I went to my doctor the other day and he said that I have to give up before it is too late. It is really serious now. I want to give up smoking and my family also want me to give up. My grand daughter wrote me a card the other day and drew a picture of my smoking. I asked her about it and she said that whenever she comes to vissit, I am smoking. I smoke in the garage, I smoke in the garden, I smoke everywhere. This is her vision of me. She told me how much it smelled and yet she loves me anyway. Please help me to stop smoking.

Robert L

Dear Mr L

Thank you for your enquiry. Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy is a really effective form of treatment and it is very safe. Spontaneous amnesia does sometimes happen during hypnotherapy but it is quite rare; in most cases, you will remember everything that happens and, most importantly, you are in control of the whole process. When you are ready to stop smoking, give me a call and we will book you an appointment.

Best of luck

Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy

Dear sir

Please help me. I have been smoking for thirty odd years now and I really want to give up. I have given  up many times before, but I always start again. The last time I gave up, I started to drink more and then I put on weight. I then started smoking the occasional cigar and this helped me in the evenings to stop me eating too much. I then started smoking Cafe Cremes, and breathed them in. At one point I smoked 15 Cafe cremes one day and realized that I was a full time smoker again. I want to give up smoking. I really do. My son is now nine, I I can’t go running with him in the park because I get so out of breath. I know that smoking is causing me real damage but I can’t stop. I also bite my nails and have managed to stop this. Why can’t I stop smoking. I heard that Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy is effective and that it can help people to stop smoking.  Can you help me. My wife stopped smoking eight years ago and  she hasn’t had one since. Has she got more will power than me?

Many thanks for your help. Please answer. Ok.

B

Dear B

Thanks for your e-mail. Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy is a highly effective form of treatment  and is very powerful indeed. Some smokers have come to me and have stopped smoking in one session, while others have had two or three sessions. There are a few that have more than three session but usually they need to talk about other issues as well and not just stopping smoking. This year 100% of indivviduals have stopped in one session.

The programme is one of complete abstinence.  When you come to me you have to be ready not to smoke and also you have to throw away all your cigarettes, lighters and paraphernalia. Once you have done this, the therapy has begun already. I will used hypnosis to help you achieve  your potential and help you to stop smoking. For more informattion, please feel free to look at my website at London Hypnotherapy UK.

Stop Smoking Hypnotherapy is very safe and extremely powerful. I wish you the best of luck. If you want a session, please call London Hypnotherapy UK on 0207 467 8564.

Hypnotherapy to Stop Smoking

Hypnotherapy: Stopping Smoking

Can hypnotherapy help me to stop smoking?

Yes. Hypnotherapy is a very powerful tool. And the process is often a very quick one.

If I went to a hypnotherapist to help me stop smoking what would I expect?

It is important to see the hypnotherapist when you are ready. Motivation is a very important factor in this process. If you want to experience hypnotherapy in order to tell your partner that this didn’t work, then you will be throwing your money away. Only see a hypnotherapist when you, yourself, are ready.

Why is repetition important?

In every day life, if we repeat a phrase over and over again, we ignore its content and feel that it makes no sense to us; however, to the unconscious mind, which processes stimuli literally, each time one repeats a phrase, it enhances our awareness and our sensory responses react to that awareness.

 What do I do Next?

Book the session. All you have to do is to ring up the hypnotherapist and book an appointment. It is that simple. One used to have to go through the GP, but this is not necessary anymore; in fact, it is up to you whether you want your doctor to know about your treatment. To book an appointment at London Hypnotherapy UK, simply phone 0207 467 8564 and you will receive a phone call back the very same day.

What is hypnotherapy treatment like and how will it help me to stop smoking?

The therapy starts straight away. Smoking is perhaps different to some other addictions. It must be a complete abstinence programme. Once the treatment begins, you should never go back to smoking. In the future, you must not smoke one cigarette. Yes, just one will hurt you, because you will make excuses and end up smoking again.

What will happen?

In the hypnotherapy, you will be in control of how you feel, think and behave. It is possible that you will experience some time distortion; however, you will be fully aware of what is going on, and you will be in control. Contrary to popular belief, the hypnotherapist is not a sort of wizard that has control over your senses: he will simply facilitate an environment in which you will be able to effect change in your own behaviour.

Aversion Therapy

London Hypnotherapy UK is committed to helping people to stop smoking. Dr David Kraft uses aversion therapy to help people to stop smoking. The benefits of this therapy are huge: not only is it long lasting, but also the effects are immediate. Some clients have been known to stop smoking in one, fifty minute session, while others have stopped after two, three or four sessions. Aversion Therapy (or covert sensitization) is a very powerful technique indeed, and the results have been quite overwhelming.

What is Aversion Therapy?

In trance, the hypnotherapist makes suggestions that, before you smoke, you will feel nauscous and sick. This is repeated at various times of the day. The intention is not to make you physically sick, but to make you feel sick before you take the cigarette. The technique is combined with ego strengthening and information about how much better you will feel having given up smoking. Ego Strengthening is a process by which the client is given suggestions that (s)he is becoming stronger, more confident and more in control.

Smoking is one of the biggest killers in the world.

Become a winner. Be a non smoker.

Have hypnotherapy: stop smoking.
